Grandma Eva Was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and a pillar or society who transition on in 2012. She raised 5 children and a host of community children that needed direction and guidance. She came along during a time when the village raised the children and during a time when taco Tuesday was on Saturday. On Saturday afternoon you would often see her front yard and front porch full of friends and family from the neighborhood partaking in her fabulous tacos made from scratch. She was the picture of strength and discipline and would always go the extra mile to make sure anyone who was hungry had something to eat. She instilled these high quality morals and values and passed on her pasty recipes to her granddaughter Latasha Jenkins who now bakes Grandma Eva’s Pastries for the 2nd Chance Corp.
